Kristen M. Smith is regularly called upon to negotiate and draft franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements and a range of agreements ancillary to franchising. She assists clients in franchise litigation and alternative dispute resolution solutions as well as trademark registration and protection.
Jarina D. Duffy, a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), focuses her practice on franchise and intellectual property matters. She counsels clients on regulatory compliance and franchisee management issues, IP registration and related regulatory nuances, and drafts and negotiates a range of franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements, license agreements, supply agreements and other agreements ancillary to franchising, such as termination and release agreements and commercial real estate leases.
